Episodes 338 Arabic التـِّين Translation The Fig Verses 8 About Surah At-Tin 095 At-Tin This is a Makki Surah and draws its name from the mention of the fig, by which Allaah SWT swears in the first verse. Some scholars commented that Allaah SWT in fact swears by the Palestine in this surah, as fig and olive are abundantly produced in that region. Also, Allaah SWT swears by Mount Sinai where He first spoke to Musa AS, and by the city of Makkah. In this way, Allaah SWT swears by three sacred locations to state that He Has created man in the best form, but lowered his stature after that. An exception to this are the believers who occupy themselves with righteous acts, so for them will be unending rewards. Those who deny the Day of Reckoning should reflect on the imperfection of justice in the world, and that the only true justice can be with Allaah SWT. بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ وَالتِّيْنِ وَالزَّيْتُوْنِۙ Wat-tīni waz-zaitūni. Demi buah tin dan buah zaitun, وَطُوْرِ سِيْنِيْنَۙ Wa ṭūri sīnīna. demi gunung Sinai, وَهٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْاَمِيْنِۙ Wa hāżal-baladil-amīni. dan demi negeri Makkah yang aman ini, لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِيْٓ اَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيْمٍۖ Laqad khalaqnal-insāna fī aḥsani taqwīmin. sungguh, Kami benar-benar telah menciptakan manusia dalam bentuk yang sebaik-baiknya. ثُمَّ رَدَدْنٰهُ اَسْفَلَ سٰفِلِيْنَۙ Ṡumma radadnāhu asfala sāfilīna. Kemudian, kami kembalikan dia ke tempat yang serendah-rendahnya, اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَلَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍۗ Illal-lażīna āmanū wa amiluṣ-ṣāliḥāti falahum ajrun gairu mamnūnin. kecuali orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan kebajikan. Maka, mereka akan mendapat pahala yang tidak putus-putusnya. فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّيْنِۗ Famā yukażżibuka badu bid-dīni. Maka, apa alasanmu wahai orang kafir mendustakan hari Pembalasan setelah adanya bukti-bukti itu? اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِيْنَ ࣖ Alaisallāhu bi'aḥkamil-ḥākimīna. The Noble Quran has many names including Al-Quran Al-Kareem, Al-Ketab, Al-Furqan, Al-Maw'itha, Al-Thikr, and Al-Noor. © 2023 All Rights Reserved بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 950 Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ 951 Wat teeni waz zaitoon Sahih InternationalBy the fig and the olive وَطُورِ سِينِينَ 952 Wa toori sineen Sahih InternationalAnd [by] Mount Sinai وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ 953 Wa haazal balad-il ameen Sahih InternationalAnd [by] this secure city [Makkah], لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ 954 Laqad khalaqnal insaana fee ahsani taqweem Sahih InternationalWe have certainly created man in the best of stature; ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ 955 Thumma ra dad naahu asfala saafileen Sahih InternationalThen We return him to the lowest of the low, إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ 956 Ill-lal lazeena aamanoo wa amilus saalihaati; falahum ajrun ghairu mamnoon Sahih InternationalExcept for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted. فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ 957 Fama yu kaz zibuka b’adu bid deen Sahih InternationalSo what yet causes you to deny the Recompense? أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ 958 Alai sal laahu bi-ahkamil haakimeen Sahih InternationalIs not Allah the most just of judges?
